Weather Retorts

This group of poems is about the weather and/or the seasons that rule it.

New England October

Go ahead! fall back asleep as
an October day dawns in New England.

But, beware, you may thus deny the delight
when frost puddles in pools in the middle

Of a concave lawn, while the rising sun
sops up frost, from the outside in.
