Weather Retorts

This group of poems is about the weather and/or the seasons that rule it.

Not Unlike the Hoi Polloi

Poets fold themselves
into the tumult of time
as it devours timid and
tenacious alike, as it
threshes, then tempts us
to collect in sudden puddles,
to gawk and stare at selfies.

Three cheers for the Hoi Polloi!
Free beer for the cognoscenti!
