To be seen only means
a thing’s on the scene,
or caught in some seine,
Which only means
The laughter is latent,
as what could blow up,
but all our schemes?

The meteoric rise in the academic sanctioning of poets since the 1970s has made "ars poetica" one of the things never far from my mind.
