Name as Commandment

To read is to draw into the imagination textual representations
of material presented for examination, by imaginations from
across the room, or the river, or the seas, or the centuries.

Print is a durable, dependable medium, which is ideal for the
conveyance, across time and space, of thoughts and dreams.

Streamable media is indistinguishable from fake media; its speed
and ease are undone by the fact that deepfakes get where
they’re sent before real McCoys are dressed and at work.

Consume all the non-print media your imagination craves,
but, word to the wise: get in writing what you hope is true.
