Bob Dylan could have been The Poet of my generation, but he decided, instead, to become a Song & Dance man for the ages! I took my seat on the Dylan bandwagon a year or two before the release of Highway 61 Revisited, and attended the first of five dozen concerts ten years later, the 8th and 9th performances of The Rolling Thunder Review.
To score press credentials for his 2002 Newport Folk Festival performance, his only stop at that venue since plugging in there in 1965, is the coup of my faux freelancer career! This is the piece that did the trick for me: Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Revue party at Mama Frasca’s Dream Away Lodge
