Histroy will not be silenced
By Dave Read, Lenox, MA, Nov. 23, 2024 – Before America’s southern states broke away from the Union, they broke away from Christianity. The Southern Baptist Convention was established in 1845, to give heavenly cover to slavery, which is hated not only by Christ, but also by Moses and Muhammad.
Unfortunately for them, a man representing a synthesis of the Abrahamic religions, Abraham Lincoln, liberated their slaves with a stroke of the pen, while wielding the gun to consign their rebellion to the dust heap of history.
Unfortunately for us all, few of his fellow rebels followed the honorable example of Gen. Robert E. Lee, who accepted defeat, put down the gun, picked up the book, and devoted himself to education. Most southerners did the opposite; for generations, they have poured whitewash over the bloodstains of slavery and rebellion.
Under cover of bootleg or hyphenated Christianity, most southerners eschewed the book, and fell in step behind a personification of their own, Jim Crow, in order to nullify the emancipation of their slaves and the liberation of their daughters and sons from the awful guilt of slavery.
Today, raw capital is the new slave boss that extracts undue profits from the labor of the least educated. So successful is indoctrination in place of education, that southerners routinely vote against measures that would enable them to consolidate their labor to enable them to bargain fairly with the consolidated power of industry.
Try to imagine the uproar and rebellion that would result if the least educated people of a state told lawyers how to conduct the business of law – or doctors, professors, preachers, and priests. Each of them is licensed by the state, but by allowing the professions to police themselves, the public is left to suffer the consequences of widespread fraud and illegality.
But history is patient and will have her say. Despite generations of whitewash, the American narrative now includes both the Tulsa Massacre and slaughter of the Osage Indian Murders.
The mistake of pretending that history is a sterile egg that cracks open every day to produces a guiltless reality, has us trapped in the nightmare of a reality TV star, escaped from the idiot box, to inhabit the White House. Ignorance of history condemns us to endless loops of dis-info-tainment
