Buoys and Gales, poem by Dave ReadIt’s a neat coincidence that Kentucky bluegrass, the dominant grass species in the northeast, is the bag that holds my boyhood poems. My paternal grandmother was born in Maysville, Kentucky, the other three all were born in Canada. Buoys and Gales, now the third part of Oswego Suite, was used on the poster related to a lighthouse photo exhibit in a hometown museum a few years ago.
